This started out as a sketch and became something serious in the end.
I'm trying out to combine different media once again. I never did anything with acrylic paint before I went to university.
Since I'm forced to work with it why not in my phb pictures as well. C:

I think this can be called a speed drawing. Compared to my other works.

Media used:
Copic marker, watercolors, acrylic paint, colored pencils.

Do not use this image in any way without my permission.

yeah, okay I think I finally get what's bothering me about your art

listen, I REALLY do not want to offend or anger or sadden you or whatever. I REALLY genuinely enjoy many aspects of your art and I really REALLY WANT TO like it.

the main obstacle to that, however, is thE FACES.

Here, this little tutorial thing helped me greatly, and perhaps you should take a glimpse at it too:
fav.me/d3k7077

disregard the title, that tutorial has some VERY useful pointers on the positioning of facial features.

And overall that entire SERIES of tutorials has a number of VERY GOOD tips about anatomy and proportions and head shapes and whatnot

They were very helpful and beneficial to me and I intend on sharing them with you because I think you will find this very useful and because I want to help you.

I don't mean or WANT to be negative towards you seriously I just want to help.

I agree with you. Her art is absolutely beautiful... But there is a lot of the 'Same Face Syndrome' going on. I know expressions are hard, but it can help improve your art even more.

Try looking into references for different expressions!
Like this~ It gives a lot of good ideas.

Truly, you have wonderful art.

It's not the same face that bothers me, it's HOW she constructs the faces to begin with. She kind of puts the noses and lips really low on the face. Extremely low.
